Delete your VolNet account

Delete your account in the VolNet app

1. Open VolNet and sign in to your account.
2. Open Settings, then Login & security.
3. Select Delete account and confirm the deletion.

This applies to both volunteer and organization accounts. If you cannot sign in, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen, complete password recovery, then sign in to delete the account.

What we delete

When you confirm deletion, we permanently delete your account, contact and profile information, and uploaded profile images. For volunteer accounts, this includes volunteering relationships and events they created. For organization accounts, this includes the organization profile, invitations, volunteer relationships, organization events, and associated event images.

What we may retain temporarily

We retain security logs and backup copies for up to 90 days after deletion from the primary system. We may retain limited information for longer only when required to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce agreements.

Timing

Deletion is completed when you confirm the action in the app. Backup copies and temporary security logs are removed according to the retention periods above.
