VolNet Child Safety Standards

Effective date: September 1, 2026

VolNet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Who these standards apply to

These standards apply to every person and organisation using VolNet, including volunteers, organisations, and event organisers. VolNet is not directed to people under 18.

Prohibited content and behaviour

VolNet prohibits any content, activity, or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, grooms, traffics, sextorts, or otherwise harms a child. This includes CSAM in any form, including images, video, computer-generated imagery, links, descriptions, or attempts to obtain or distribute such material.

Reporting concerns

If you see suspected CSAE, CSAM, or another child-safety concern in VolNet, contact our child-safety point of contact at [email protected] with the subject line Child safety report. Do not send or attach suspected CSAM.

Our response

We review reports promptly and take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. This may include removing content, suspending or deleting accounts, preserving information where legally required, and reporting to relevant authorities or child-safety organisations when appropriate.
